Our Team

Tina Kostreva, Studio Owner

Tina Kostreva has been dancing for 30 years and has been teaching and choreographing for 22 years. She began with studio training, was a member of her high school’s dance team, and was a member of the UW-Green Bay dance team. She was chosen as an American All Star in high school and had the opportunity to perform on a Carnival Carribean Cruise. In college, she performed in the Danceworks annual concerts, majored in Arts Management, and minored in Dance. She has experience in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Pom, and Swing. Her favorite style of dance is Tap!

Tina started the Christian Dance Company in 2001 with the help of her family. She wanted to start a program with Christian values and began envisioning what that would look like. Christian music, modest costumes, and appropriate, tasteful choreography were at the top of her list. God blessed this endeavor and was with her every step of the way. The Christian Dance Company provides classes in an array of genres of dance and competes at local and national competitions, as well as attending workshops and festivals. CDC has been blessed to receive multiple high scoring awards and special judges awards as well.

Tina was selected in the summer of 2016 as director of the dance program for the Western Music Institute in California, a two-week conservatory arts camp for high school students. Tina has trained as a judge several times through WACPC (Wisconsin Association of Cheer and Pom Coaches) and has been judging at dance competitions throughout the state since 2019. She has brought dance to many children by volunteering for various churches and community organizations throughout her life.

Tina loves to see her students’ passion and joy for dance. Seeing them learn about the Lord, learn important life skills, and build confidence and character is a huge blessing! Tina wants her students to know that they are loved and that God has a plan for their life!
